Green Play's first ever campaign! For every three pointer that UBC basketball makes at home this season, we will fund the planting of a native tree in a Canadian ecosystem that needs restoration. Follow along to see how big of an impact we can make together, and help us expand into new sports and add new universities by year 2.
Green Play will track every 3-pointer made by UBC Thunderbirds men's and women's basketball teams at home this season.

Trees Planted
We just planted our 24th tree. I did the work. You get to feel good about it. Fine arrangement, honestly.
โ Tre
Extra ways to help grow Canadian forests. Every game brings new changes to increase the impact.
When a team drains 10 or more threes in a single game, the tree count for that game is doubled. Hot hands grow forests faster.
If a three-pointer drops at the buzzer during the game, three extra trees are planted on top of the regular count. Every last-second heave counts.
A three-pointer from half court that beats the buzzer plants 10 extra trees on top of the regular count. Ten at once, from way downtown.
After each game, the player who hit the most three-pointers earns the "Shooting Star" Award โ recognition for the sharpest shooter on the court.
Live count of every bonus triggered this season and the current Shooting Star leader.
